How do you get people to buy a single can of beer at a premium price point? Answer: put it in a bad-ass custom box. Surly Brewing Co. is known for their tall boy beer cans and also known for their special releases ... that don't come in cans. When they decided to put their highly anticipated "13" release in a can they knew they needed to make it killer. Enter Surly Creative Director Michael Berglund. Michael designed the can and coordinating box featuring bronze illustrations on a black background. Studio On Fire helped translate his epic illustrations into a foil stamped box with a dramatic emboss, really punching the artwork into the hands of the holder. The auto-bottom of the box allowed this custom box to work in a very automated fulfillment environment.
